Mazz Murray: The Music of Dusty Springfield

Current star of the West End’s Mamma Mia! and the voice of so many iconic musical roles, Mazz Murray will put her powerhouse vocals behind the songs of Dusty Springfield this November in the much-anticipated performance, Mazz Murray: The Music of Dusty Springfield. This spectacular display of her talent is a celebration of a true British legend in a thrilling and emotional theatrical event, presented by Cuffe & Taylor in association with Solo Agency.

Featuring Dusty’s hit songs, including ‘You Don’t Have to Say You Love Me’, ‘Son of a Preacher Man’, and ‘I Close My Eyes and Count to Ten’, the show will take audiences on a musical journey through Dusty Springfield’s extraordinary body of work, alongside a full live band.

“One of the greatest talents in the West End,” Mazz Murray has captivated audiences for three decades with her “roof raising vocals” in the likes of Sunset Boulevard, Chicago and We Will Rock You. She currently stars as Donna Sheridan in Mamma Mia!, and is one of the longest running cast members of the blockbuster show. She previously tackled Dusty Springfield’s music playing the singer in A Girl Called Dusty, and is the perfect choice for bringing these songs back into the limelight.

Originally making her mark in the heart of 1960s swinging London, Dusty Springfield is largely considered to be one of the best female artists of all time. The Music of Dusty Springfield hopes to continue celebrating her legacy and showcasing Dusty’s immense talent.
