Cymbeline is one of Shakespeare’s rarely seen final plays.
We have today added the new poduction of Othello at the Trafalgar Studios in London.
We have updated our specialist Royal Shakespeare Company ticket site www.rsctheatretickets.co.uk today to include The Tempest, Midsummer Nights Dream, Love’s Labour’s Lost, Romeo & Juliet, Don John, The Merchant of Venice, Hamlet and The Taming of the Shrew.
The various Shakespeare plays are playing at a variety of locations, including Stratford on Avon, Newcastle upon Tyne and London.
Michelle Gomez, probably best known for her role in the Channel 4 comedy Green Wing, joins the RSC for the first time to play Kate in The Taming of the Shrew, and David Tennant is playing the role of Berowne in Love’s Labour’s Lost, as well as the lead role in Hamlet of course.
Productions for 2009 at Stratford on Avon include As You Like It, The Comedy of Errors, The Drunks, The Grain Store, Julius Caesar and The Winters Tale and tickets should be available for these later in October.

Comedian Lenny Henry is to make his stage acting debut in the role of Othello.
Henry, who was 50 this year, will undertake a national tour as the star in a production of Shakespeare’s famous tragedy.
The production will tour the UK next year.
