Love’s Labour’s Lost

I have read in the news today that not only is David Tennant (Dr Who) sold out in Shakespeare’s Hamlet at Stratford-on-Avon, but he is also a great success in the comedic role of Berowne in Love’s Labour’s Lost.

Contact details for the RSC box office can be found on our RSC Theatre Tickets Site.

Since both of these productions only run until the 15th November, if you are not lucky enough to get tickets for either you might find an alternative Shakespearean play to suit your tastes if you browse our RSC Theatre Tickets Site.

In the meantime if you wish to read the BBC review of Davide Tennant in Love’s Labour’s Lost, you can find it here.

RSC Tickets

We have updated our specialist Royal Shakespeare Company ticket site today to include The Tempest, Midsummer Nights Dream, Love’s Labour’s Lost, Romeo & Juliet, Don John, The Merchant of Venice, Hamlet and The Taming of the Shrew.

The various Shakespeare plays are playing at a variety of locations, including Stratford on Avon, Newcastle upon Tyne and London.

Michelle Gomez, probably best known for her role in the Channel 4 comedy Green Wing, joins the RSC for the first time to play Kate in The Taming of the Shrew, and David Tennant is playing the role of Berowne in Love’s Labour’s Lost, as well as the lead role in Hamlet of course.

Productions for 2009 at Stratford on Avon include As You Like It, The Comedy of Errors, The Drunks, The Grain Store, Julius Caesar and The Winters Tale and tickets should be available for these later in October.
