Sister Act Tickets
We have launched a new site dedicated to the new stage adaptation of Sister Act which can be found at www.sisteracttickets.org.uk. The show is being produced by the Oscar winning star of the hit movie, Whoopi Goldberg, and is currently booking from 7th May 2009 to 13th February 2010.
When speaking to BBC Radio 1’s Newsbeat, Goldberg commented “We’re taking the show and redefining it and making it work. If you are fortunate enough to be a part of something wonderful, I feel it’s important to pass the baton.” The star said some changes had been made, adding that the main character, Deloris, would be younger than she was when Goldberg played her in the film.
No decisions have been made about casting, although Goldberg said the singers they have heard so far will “tear the house down”.
“Sister Act will never die,” said Goldberg. “It’s like the Mickey Mouse Club, it’s never going anywhere.
