The Caretaker
The Caretaker was Harold Pinter’s first big hit when it was first performed in 1940. Half a century later, it is still as mysterious and compelling as it ever was.
Hollywood star and Tony Award winning actor Jonathan Pryce joins the list of great actors such as Donald Pleasance and Michael Gambon who have previously played the part of Davies.
When this production opened at the Liverpool Everyman Theatre in October 2009 it was acclaimed as one of the finest ever productions of the play ever. Now it transfers to the Trafalgar Studios Theatre in London’s West End from 12th January 2010 for fourteen weeks only, so be sure to book your tickets early.
